EDGE FALLS - GUADALUPE STATE PARK (Guadalupe River)

February 17, 2007

Several things I noticed about the river that were different was:

without leaves on the trees it is rather stark

there were no wildflowers at all (go figure, for this time of year)

the water was very clear and fairly cold

and the water was higher, so the rapids were a bit higher
